"Kellie (or I call her Mama K) has been a spiritual influence and mentor for me for over 5 years now. She has been instrumental in teaching me how to love and respect my husband the biblical way.

I grew up with strong women presence in my family, so the ways that she lovingly coached me to be more submissive and respectful were absolutely necessary, and also nothing like how I was afraid it would be! She helped me grow in the understanding that submission does not mean becoming a doormat for my husband. We are of equal value as human beings created in God's image, but we have distinct and separate roles in our marriage.

She also helped me through a very difficult time early in my marriage and encouraged me to always seek Jesus first at a time when I felt at my lowest. She never made me feel judged or feel less than, she always let the love of Jesus shine through her and reminded me to walk in the free gift of forgiveness for the big and small things.

My husband completed Pastor Darien's "Men Coaching Men" Heart to Heart Christian Chaplaincy program in 2022 and graduated as a certified Christian Chaplain. I watched him become a changed man for the better. He grew in knowledge of the Bible as well as practical knowledge from Pastor Darien's life examples. Pastor Darien loves so deeply and passionately. It is evident in the ways he is both strong and encouraging with the men in ways that they need!

These two are a wonderful and loving couple on fire for Jesus and teaching others the importance of leading a life of submission to God, first and foremost, and allowing His authority the Bible to work in and through our daily lives."
